on new years eve i was driving to a party, honestly there was so much snow and ice i couldn’t believe we were doing this, anyway, going through a somewhat run down part of KC, in the city itself, there is still beautiful architecture that almost looks better the way it is now. the suburbs when they go down here are just trash. beside the point though, i’m going through this area of an old parkway where the streetlights don’t work, it’s about a block long, and on this stretch is a bridge that’s been there for some time, but i believe is something newer made to look older. it’s metal covered in stone work. it’s beautiful. the lights are out so you can clearly see the snow all around and still falling, past the bridge there are hills and trees, you can see the landscape that homes were build on and roads were paved around before we got into all this leveling stuff… just white… everywhere.

Flutterby: Words left unsaid
Words left unsaid are my greatest enemy
Fighting inside my head to find some way to break free through my ever-so impulsive attempts at conversation when i get nervous.
I’m sitting here wanting so bad to bleed out of my fingertips, to write anything more than simply a slightly poetic burst of…

“Unobstructed Views” - Death Cab for Cutie
There’s no eye in the sky
Just our love
No unobstructed view
No perfect truths
Just our love
Just our love
And there’s no verse
No monument of words
For our love
For they can’t hold
All I know about my love, about my love
Storm clouds break
Pools remain memories for
Earth embrace
That umbrate up above
They become
New love
New love
There’s no eye in the sky
Just our love, just our love
No unobstructed views
No perfect truths
Just our love, just our love

Solar Eclipse Pictures: 2012 “Ring of Fire”
“Smiling” Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse turns the disk of the sun into a wide orange grin over Gumaca in the Philippines on Monday morning, local time. Although the sun is only minimally covered in this picture, the so-called annular eclipse went on to create a “ring of fire” for sky-watchers in parts of Asia and the U.S. West.Photograph by Bullit Marquez, AP
